A major initiative of the DigLibArts Center, the Student Technology Liaison Program accepts a small number of ambitious and self-motivated students each year to receive mentorship and training in digital scholarship methods and tools from DigLibArts staff. This co-curricular experience enriches the liberal arts curriculum of Whittier College students and offers students extensive hands-on experience, personalized professional mentorship, tools and guidance to produce original digital content, opportunities to organize campus wide events, and the chance to interact with leading scholars in the field of digital humanities and open education. These skills are immediately transferrable to course work, professional work environments, and non-profit organizing work.
