Resources: DigLibArts @ the Pedagogy Lab: (Re)Orientation

As mentioned in the previous blog post, this year, DigLibArts is experimenting with the format of our beloved faculty Pedagogy Labs. Instead of holding a large Pedagogy Lab, we’re collaborating with Laura McEnaney, Associate Dean for Faculty Development, and Sam Alfrey, Instruction Librarian, to focusing our lab and offer more specific content geared toward junior faculty. We’ll be offering multiple panels featuring senior faculty aimed at situating newer faculty to the campus community and student body, on designing syllabi, and integrating information literacy into a course syllabus.

For our part, DigLibArts will be leading a short workshop on developing digital assignments. Andrea Rehn will provide some background information on DigLibArts, and along with Sonia Chaidez and myself, will offer some examples of digital assignments, before guiding small groups of faculty to design their own assignments.
