Coordinator // Anne Cong-Huyen

Anne is the Digital Scholar and Instructor of Media and Digital Studies at Whittier College. She is formerly a Mellon Postdoctoral Fellow in the Humanities and Visiting Assistant Professor of Asian American Studies at the UC Los Angeles. Her research interests include the literature and media of migration and labor, digital pedagogy, and networked collaborations. 

Her work appears in The Global South, The Journal of e-Media Studies, Debates in the Digital Humanities 2016, and Humanities and the Digital (MIT Press). She has also previously published on comics in the Asian American literature class. She serves on the steering committee of FemTechNet, HASTAC, and is a founding member of the #transformDH collective which seeks to incorporate critical cultural studies and social justice work into broad digital activities.
