DigLibArts is excited to welcome our new team member, Dr. Anne Cong-Huyen. Anne Cong-Huyen comes to Whittier College after a postdoctoral fellowship at UCLA as Fellow in Cultures of Transnational Perspective and Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Asian American Studies. She completed her PhD in 2013 at UC Santa Barbara with a dissertation titled “Host & Server: The Cultural Production of Temporariness in Global Cities,” and is a member of HASTAC as well as a founding member of the #transformDH movement which seeks to diversify the critical paradigms that drive digital humanities work. At Whittier College, Anne Cong-Huyen will join the Sonia Chaidez as a Coordinator for DigLibArts.
